Welcome  to the new website of the Nunavut Heritage Network (NHN).

We are a group of committed heritage professionals spread across Nunavut. We decided that through collaboration, mutual support and advocacy, we could overcome our common challenges to growth and development of Nunavut's heritage sector.

Our territory, 'Nunavut' (Our Land), was founded on the rights asserted by Inuit that because of their history and millenia of occupation of land, they had a right to self-government. Heritage is the very essence of what defines who we as Inuit are. Our connection to land is our heritage and everything that is unique about us comes from this connection between land and people.
